TRIVAL ANTENE d.o.o. was established in 1965 under the name SVIT Kamnik, when the first antennas were developed and delivered to the local Army. The company has been utilizing composite materials (fibreglass with polyester or epoxy resin enforcement) manufactured by a sister company under the same ownership, today TRIVAL COMPOSITE d.o.o. Presence and proximity of the chemical plant have enabled very fast implementation of new antennas and design of rugged products to meet the most demanding requirements of military customers.

Since 1993 TRIVAL ANTENE has been established as an independent privately owned partnership company. Company has moved from Kamnik to dedicated facilities located in Menges, about a half hour drive from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. The company has been traditionally involved with military antennas and masts, however, due to high market demand, it has developed and manufactured a variety of new products also for the professional, non-military market.

 

In its catalogue TRIVAL ANTENE has more than 200 different types of products like antennas, antenna masts and antenna accessories, encompassing frequency ranges from 1.5 MHz to 6.0 GHz.

PRODUCTS

TRIVAL ANTENE products can be divided into the following categories:

• Military communication antennas (HF, VHF and UHF, fix stations, vehicular, manpack and handheld configurations)

• Jamming antennas, typically custom specified (in HF. VHF and UHF frequency ranges).

• Antennas for marine applications (HF, VHF and UHF for  ships and yachts)

• Antennas for civil professional communications (HF, VHF and UHF antennas, for fix stations, vehicular and for handheld Radios)

• Radio amateur antennas (HF, VHF and UHF stationary, mobile and portable antennas)

• Antenna Masts (telescopic mechanically driven fibreglass masts (from 5 to 18 m with up to 40 kg load or tactical fast deployment up to 8 m)

• Custom designed antennas (antennas for EMC measurements, radio spectrum monitoring, etc.)

• Antenna accessories (cables, connectors, lightning protectors, mounting brackets, etc.)

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

We are proud to be both an R&D company and a manufacturer. Nearly all manufactured antennas were developed by several of our engineers and we continue to develop new and upgrade performance of the existing antennas and bring to the market several of each year. The company has been continuously investing in human resources and capital equipment to meet the challenges with state-of-the-art needs. The design of antennas, their characteristics, and specifications are verified and simulated by the dedicated CAD equipment produced by R&S and HP. Performance characteristics of prototypes are measured using in-facilities test ranges.  An in-house environmental lab enables testing of basic environmental specification and the local external lab enables to complete all additional tests per Mil-Std-810.
